With the VP-100, I don't need to have the EFIS speaking to it to show the electrical data as it is displayed on it's own stand alone display. As I'm using a D180, so there would be no interface ability with the VP-X. I also purchased a wiring harness from VerticalPower. Both items will be arriving with my fuselage kit. Marc Ausman metioned to send him the VP-100 load planning worksheet once it's done so they can make sure everything looks good. Good folks there at VP.
On top of that, I received my order from Stein today. DSUB pins and connectors, shells, fuse blocks, and some toggle switch boots.
Still doing wiring planning with Autocad...I decided to also put a PMA5000EX audio panel in the aircraft too. I like the ability to hook up my cell phone, ipod, and so on with the panel, and there's always the chance that I may put a second radio in. If I get that Garmin 530W that a friend has mentioned he may be able to get for me from an upgrade his company is doing on a business jet. We'll see!
